DISCOVERING ENGLAND AND ITS CULTURE

Discovering country, learning about history, culture, customs, practising English, meeting and chatting with people is all part of jobshadowing activity. Three of us had great opportunity to visit interesting places like Oxford , Stratford-upon-Avon and Buckingham and meet lovely people at schools, some old and new friends.

When in Oxford we saw Christ Church College and Cathedral  and Ashmolean the University of Oxford's museum of art and archaeology.

we saw Tolkien: Maker of Middle-earth exhibition in Weston Library.

In Stratford-upon-Avon we visited Shakespeare's BirthplaceAnne Hathaway's Cottage & Gardens and Shakespeare's New Place.

In Buckingham we went to see Old Gaol Museum with interesting things telling history of town and area. We were lucky to see traditional Morris Dance. It was also interesting to enjoy Full English Breakfast in White Hart Hotel, English tea in Tea Room and British favourite Indian Food in Red Chilli Indian Restaurant. Our special THANK YOU to our friend Michael Wisbach for showing us all these lovely places.
