Students exchange with Tomasz Noraus-Naruševicius Junior High School in Krokialaukis in Lithuania

From June 8th to 12th, a group of 14 students from class 8a, under the supervision of principal Beata Kosicka-Siwak and English teacher Małgorzata Łupicka, participated in a partner trip to Lithuania. We hosted the Tomasz Noraus-Naruševicius Junior High School in Krokialaukis. The visit was a return visit – our Lithuanian colleagues visited us in December of last year. The main topic of the meeting was the "Sustainable School" project implemented at the Lithuanian school. Our eighth-graders had the opportunity to explore the green infrastructure of the Lithuanian school, participate in environmental and educational workshops, socialize through sports, and exchange experiences with their peers from Lithuania. The trip was also an excellent opportunity to learn about the culture and scenic beauty of Lithuania. The program included visits to key locations: Vilnius, Marijampolė, Alytus, the Druskininkai spa town, and Meteliai Regional Park. After intense days full of excitement, the group relaxed at the charming "Girinio Sodyba" accommodation, nestled in the heart of a forest right on the Nemunas River. This visit was another step in over a decade of cooperation between our schools. During this time, we have completed several successful projects together, and above all, we have forged strong bonds of friendship, which we continue to cultivate. We would like to thank our Lithuanian partners for their incredibly warm welcome and wonderful atmosphere! Ačiū!
